A pair of Royal Albert Beatrix Potter glazed porcelain figurines featuring the characters Tom Kitten and The Tailor of Gloucester. Each figure is hand-painted in a traditional illustrative style. The Tom Kitten figurine, identified in trade references as the large size version, depicts a cat in blue attire standing upon a green grassy base. The Tailor of Gloucester figurine features a mouse seated atop a yellow and red spool of thread reading a newspaper titled The Tailor & Cutter. The underside of each base includes the Royal Albert England backstamp with a crown logo, the character name, and copyright attributions to F. Warne & Co. and Royal Albert Ltd. dated 1993 and 1994 respectively.
