This glazed porcelain anthropomorphic figure is depicted wearing a green jersey with a black number 1 on the back, black shorts, and orange gloves. The figure is posed holding a ball on a green mounded base. The underside bears the official Royal Doulton backstamp with a copyright date of 1991. The inscription on the base states the piece was exclusively produced for U.K. International Ceramics Ltd. as part of a special edition of 250 sets. A small handwritten mark is also present on the underside.
