^Lot 296 Two John Beswick Royal Doulton Tom and Jerry Figurines

This 2pc set of John Beswick Tom and Jerry figurines was produced as an exclusive worldwide limited edition of 2,000 pieces in 1995. The glazed ceramic figures depict the animated characters in their classic forms. Tom the cat (Model 3552) is rendered in a gray glaze with a cream-colored chest and belly, posed with hands on hips. Jerry the mouse (Model 3549) features a reddish-brown glaze with a cream chest and is posed with one arm outstretched. Both figures are mounted on matching oval cream bases with a high-gloss finish. The undersides of both pieces bear the John Beswick script mark and detailed text identifying the characters from Tom & Jerry, with copyright attributions to Turner Entertainment Co., Royal Doulton, and U.K.I. Ceramics Ltd.
