^Lot 252 2pc Nadal Glazed Porcelain Figurines of Girls with Flowers

This pair of glazed porcelain figurines is produced by the Nadal factory in Valencia, Spain. The collection consists of two sentimental studies of young girls decorated with hand-applied floral elements. The standing figure depicts a girl in a pale blue dress and white apron holding a shallow basin filled with blossoms, with a small dog and an overturned basket of flowers at her feet. The base of this figurine features the incised model number 2385. The seated figure represents a girl in a lavender-blue dress resting on a rocky outcropping, holding a single flower with a small basket of flowers at her side. The base of the seated figure is incised with model number 2549. Both figurines bear the blue printed manufacturer mark featuring a crown above the word NADAL and the text Valencia - Spain Since 1915.
