Designed by sculptor Antonio Ballester and first issued in 1971, the figurine depicts a pair of courting doves with fanned tail feathers modeled in a side-by-side pose. The piece is made of glossy glazed porcelain with minimal painted accents, featuring reddish-pink and dark details for the eyes and a subtle blue-grey wash on the beak tips. The underside bears a blue printed factory mark with the stylized bellflower symbol, the word LLADRO, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and DAISA.
