This glazed porcelain figurine, titled The Architect, was manufactured by Lladro in Spain. The piece, model number 5214, was designed by Salvador Furio and depicts a male professional at work. He is depicted leaning over a tall drafting desk or pedestal, examining blueprints while holding a writing instrument. The underside of the base displays the blue printed Lladro factory mark, which includes the bellflower symbol, Hand Made in Spain, and the DAISA copyright mark. The model number 5214 is incised into the ceramic base.
