A polychrome glazed porcelain figurine produced by Lladro, identified as the Beggar, model number 1094. The figure depicts an elderly bearded man in a seated position on a rocky outcropping. He wears a wide-brimmed hat, a tan cloak over a white shirt, and gray breeches. A small greyhound-style dog stands at his side, looking upward toward the man. The base features a blue underglaze factory mark including the Lladro bell flower symbol and the text Lladro, Handmade in Spain. The underside also bears incised marks including the numbers 7, 1, and 8, along with a stylized character. A circular paper gallery label for Arthur James Galleries is attached to the base.
