^Lot 194 Chinese Turquoise Lidded Ginger Jar

The exterior features a vibrant turquoise ground embellished with a pattern of scrolling tendrils. Four circular medallions contain iron-red characters. These medallions are interspersed with stylized lotus blossoms and scrolling foliage. The shoulder is encircled by a band of multi-colored ruyi heads, while the base is finished with a stylized petal lappet border. The matching domed lid follows the same decorative scheme. The base bears a four-line iron-red stamped mark: Made In China.
