^Lot 187 Fenton Water Lily Custard Satin Uranium Glass Bowl

This vintage bowl was manufactured by the Fenton Art Glass Company and features the embossed Water Lily pattern. The piece is made of custard glass, an opaque uranium glass that displays a vivid green fluorescence under blacklight. The glass has been treated with an acid-etched satin finish and features decorative scalloped edges with an inverted rim. As a pressed glass object, it sits on a low, ground collar base and lacks a pontil mark. This pattern and material are characteristic of Fenton mid-20th-century production.
