^Lot 179 Jellyfish Art Glass Paperweight

This is an art glass paperweight with an internal jellyfish. The contemporary sculpture is hand-blown and features an upright ovoid shape. It utilizes an encasing technique where a white lampwork jellyfish motif is suspended within a vibrant emerald green glass core. The core exhibits lighter, swirled internal veining and is surrounded by clear glass. The piece is further detailed with controlled bullicante style air bubbles throughout to simulate underwater effervescence. The base has been ground flat and polished to a smooth finish.
