Lot 109 Four Goebel M.I. Hummel Hand Painted Porcelain Figurines Including Commemorative Editions

This collection consists of four hand-painted porcelain figurines manufactured by Goebel in the M.I. Hummel artistic tradition. The first figurine, titled Which Hand (Hum 258), depicts a boy in a red jacket seated on a stool and a girl in a blue robe kneeling beside him with a small bird. The base bears the Goebel W. Germany mark with a stylized bee inside a V. The second figurine, titled Friends Together (Hum 444), is a Unicef Commemorative Edition featuring two girls of different ethnicities holding hands. The base is inscribed Lasst uns zusammen stehen / Friends Together and carries the Unicef logo and Goebel Germany mark. The third figurine, titled Love Lives On (Hum 416), was produced as a 50th Anniversary Commemorative (1935-1985). It features a boy holding a flower basket with a 50 medallion and a girl holding a bouquet. The base includes a 50 Years anniversary stamp and the Goebel W. Germany mark dated 1984. The fourth figurine, titled The Little Pair (Hum 449), is an M.I. Hummel Club Exclusive Edition. It depicts a boy and girl standing side-by-side with their arms around each other. The base is inscribed Brüderlein und Schwesterlein / The Little Pair and features the Exclusive Edition 10 Jahre stamp with the Goebel W. Germany mark dated 1988.
