^Lot 103 Steiff and Goebel Hummel Wonder of Christmas Figurine and Teddy Bear Set, 1998

The teddy bear is crafted from high-quality golden-brown mohair-style plush with felt paw pads and is fully jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. It features the trademark Steiff Knopf im Ohr button in ear with a yellow tag, EAN 996535, and is part of a limited edition of 20,000 pieces produced for M.I. Hummel, bearing serial number 15485. The bear wears a red satin ribbon with a circular porcelain medallion depicting the Wonder of Christmas scene. The accompanying hand-painted porcelain figurine, titled Am Weihnachtsbaum or Wonder of Christmas (HUM 2015), depicts a young girl and boy decorating a Christmas tree. The base features the blue Goebel Germany factory mark and a First Issue 1998 stamp.
