^Lot 96 Goebel M.I. Hummel Figurine, Learning to Share

This large-scale Goebel M.I. Hummel (hum) figurine, titled Learning to Share and known in German as Lasst mich auch mal, is a significant release from the Moments in Time collection. The multi-figure polychrome group depicts a charming nursery scene with a boy on a rocking horse, an older girl in a yellow dress, and a younger girl holding a doll. The base features an open storybook and a red and white polka-dot ball. The underside is marked with the blue Goebel TMK-8 Bumblebee factory mark, the m. J. Hummel signature, the year 2007, and the Roman numeral XXI. This hand-painted ceramic piece is a limited edition, numbered 0768 of 3,000, produced shortly before the Goebel factory ceased Hummel production. Height: 7.5 inches.
