^Lot 95 Goebel Hummel, Wishes Come True Figurine with Base

A large-scale Goebel Hummel porcelain figurine titled Wishes Come True (German title: Gesucht, Gefunden), model number 2025/I. This piece is part of the Wonder of Childhood (Kindheitsträume) series and depicts a charming scene of a young boy and girl on a set of wooden stairs. The boy sits on the upper step dangling a jumping jack puppet on a red string, while the girl stands below holding a teddy bear. A curious orange cat is perched on the banister and a blue ball rests on the bottom step. The underside features the TMK-8 Goebel bee mark and is designated as an Exclusive Edition 2000/2001 for the M.I. Hummel Club. The back of the stairs features the incised M.I. Hummel signature. This Hummel with base includes a custom-contoured dark wood display stand with a brass-tone nameplate. Height: 7 inches.
