Item/Description: Signed Southwestern style gemstone pendant necklace by silversmith and studio artist, Tom Burns. Hand-crafted from Sterling Silver. The Modernist triangular shaped pendant is bezel set with natural polished red cuprite and green chrysocolla stones. The bale is contiguous with the mounting. Etched artist's signature: Tom Burns. Pendant suspended by sparkly Sterling Silver chain. Hallmarked: 925, Italy 899 VI.
Tom Burns has a workshop in Westminster, Vermont. The literature included, written in his own hand, accompanies each of his works and references his love of design and respect for the history of silversmithing of the Southwest and Native American cultures.
