Item/Description: Modernist abstract Sterling ring by acclaimed Danish artist and silversmith, Jacob Hull. Hand-crafted softly rounded design, resembling liquid. Contoured to finger. Wrap band. Commissioned b the Danish company Buch + Deichman, manufacturers of women’s jewelry and hair accessories in the 1970s. Hallmarked: Denmark, Sterling, Jacob Hull, B+D
Jacob Hull was an acclaimed silversmith and accomplished sculptor who designed one-of pieces, travelled extensively and exhibited his jewelry internationally. He was especially prolific in the 1970s and worked in both Sterling Silver and silver plate. His jewelry is highly sought and always hand signed or stamped with his name. Tragically in 1993 he died in a house fire in Denmark.

Condition: Very Good. Ring retains its shape nicely. Signs of age, use and wear including scratches, scuffs, tiny nicks (primarily visible upon magnification) and patina.
