Item/Description: Lovely Herend Hungary three piece porcelain dish lot. Delicate hand-painted Rothschild Bird pattern. Varied in shape and size: rounded and oblong. Scalloped ruffled gilt accented edges. Each depict a pair of brightly hued birds perched atop flowering branches surrounded by butterflies, lady bugs and cicadas in flight. Organic nature motifs. Celebration of springtime and rebirth. Hallmarked on bases: with Herend Hungary stamps and incise marks.

Condition: Very Fine. Free of chips, cracks, damage and repair. Colors vivid and crisp. Gilded edges intact and glossy on two largest dishes. Signs of age, use and wear including gilt loss to edges of small dish, tiny area of abrasion at edge of round dish at base, scuffs to base, shelf ware.
