Antique African Dogon Granary DOOR on a Custom Metal Stand. This is  Hand-carved Wood from Mali, West Africa. It measures 42" Tall x 24" Long x 7" Wide and Weighs 35 lbs. These were traditionally used for covering the entry to family grain storage structures. There are high-relief carvings of ancestors to protect the harvest and it depicts cosmological symbols or family lineage. The intricate designs often reflect the owner's status within Dogon Society.
