Antique sterling silver electric table lamp with a rich and royal provenance. Made by Hawksworth Eyre & Co, Sheffield in 1909. Purportedly presented and inscribed by the Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich ( youngest son of Emperor Alexander III of Russia) at Christmas 1909 to Edward Brook (1848- 1935) who was station master at Euston Railway Station and the receipent of many gifts over many years from the Grand Duke.
