^Lot 1401 Tula / TGI 1895 Nagant 7.62x38mm #NG1040

WW2 Russian (Soviet Union) military "gas seal" revolver dated 1941 under Tula arsenal star on left frame , imported by TGI, Knoxville TN. Features 7 shot scalloped cylinder, blued finish, 4 1/2" barrel, fixed sights, double/single action, lanyard ring at butt. 3 piece checkered wood grips. Bore is good or better condition, somewhat bright with good rifling, light pitting throughout. Retains about 97% dark blued arsenal re-finish, with minor handling marks. Grips are very good condition. Action operates properly with tight lock-up. Importer markings on the underside of barrel, original Russian serial with Cyrillic letters visible forward of cylinder. Includes correct later issue brown leather flap holster with cleaning rod.
