For parts or repair. A retro pump shotgun receiver designed by John Browning, and manufactured by J. Stevens and Tool Company between 1909 and 1916, and later New England Westinghouse/'J. Stevens Arms Company.' This particular receiver is marked 'J. Stevens Arms Company,' Chicopee Falls, MA. The original blued finish retained is approximately 35% with most of the bluing fading to a brown patina, and showing edge wear. Metal displays scattered spots of rust, pin prick pitting, and deformation in the screw slots. Receiver includes a smooth curved trigger and some on the internal parts.
