^Lot 983 Norinco / B-West SKS 7.62x39mm #1302831

Chinese short stroke semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, imported by B-West from Tucson, AZ. Importer stamped "7.62x39 SPORTER MADE IN CHINA BY NORINCO" on the left receiver rail. It features an approximately 20.5" barrel, folding spike bayonet, cleaning rod under barrel, protected post front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1000 meters, fixed 10 round magazine, smooth curved trigger, stamped triggerguard, manual safety, and sling swivels. The wood stock has almost a straight grip with a finger grooved forend, ventilated handguard, and trapdoor metal buttplate. Matching serial numbers on receiver, magazine floorplate, triggerguard, bolt carrier, and the stock. Cleaning gear in buttstock. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The metal retains approximately 98% of its bluing with nearly no edge wear, some uneven bluing on the receiver cover, and very minor scratches. Stock is in very good condition with few dents & scratches from storage.
