1807 S-271 R1 "Comet" Variety VF20Sharpness near VF30 but lightly cleaned and nicely retoned long ago. Glossy light to medium chocolate with traces of tan in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and the only marks are a speck of carbon in the field under the jaw and another spot of carbon in the lower curls. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with a nicely formed Comet in the field behind the head in addition to the earlier linear die flaws in the fields. Graded VF30 net VF20 and tied for CC#25 in the Noyes census, his photo #29007.
