1798 S-168 R3 Small 8, Style II Hair G5Glossy chocolate brown and steel. The highpoints are smooth while traces of extremely fine roughness show in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris and the only notable mark is a small planchet fissure over the second A in AMERICA. The date is strong for the grade and most of the legends are clear. Terminal die state, unknown to Breen, with a bold cud break connecting AM to the rim. Only two examples are known today, and this is the finest piece.
