1798 S-166 R1 Large 8, Style II Hair VF25Glossy steel brown and chocolate with microscopic specks of slightly darker olive brown covering the obverse. These specks are only visible under magnification. The only marks are extremely tiny ticks and planchet chips scattered over the obverse. Lightly worn with the hair details of a higher grade, but a bit unevenly struck, as nearly always for this variety. A light diagonal nick tucked under the lowest curl is the best identifying mark.
