1796 S-86 R-5 Liberty Cap F12+Sharpness VF25 but there are fine hairline scratches on the obverse two stronger ones in the field before the face. The surfaces are smooth except for a small patch of very fine reddish roughness at the left edge of the cap and another at ATE. The toning is a very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with the exception of those two reddish brown patches. Overall the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice.
