1837 N-2 R2 Plain Hair Cord, Medium Letters VF30Glossy medium brown blending to chocolate in protected areas. Smooth with small contact marks scattered over both sides, mostly in the field before the portrait. A tiny rim nick left of star 4 and a small pinprick in the field close before the eye may help identify this cent. Extremely rare TDS, die state g, with a large cud break connecting star 4 to the rim. Graded VF35 net VF25 and second finest of the terminal state in the Noyes census, his photo #59621. Noyes lists only 3 examples of the terminal die state in his census, although there may be a couple more out there somewhere.
