1835 N-1 R1 Head of 1834, Large 8 & Stars, PCGS graded MS63 BrownLustrous bluish steel and light olive with a half dozen tiny splashes of lighter reddish brown toning on the reverse including one inside the O in ONE and another at the left top of the U in UNITED. A tiny vertical nick or planchet chip on the truncation over the 8 is the best identifying mark. M-LDS, die state b. A fine radial die crack now connects the midpoint of the earlier crack from star 11 to star 12 to the dentils. A satiny, attractive cent.
