1833 N-1 R2 PCGS graded MS65 BrownLustrous light brown and steel. Satiny mint frost covers this cent and the only marks are a couple wisps of darker toning at stars 12 & 13 and spots of similar toning under the right end of the line below CENT. LDS, die state c. The lump between the tops of the T & A in STATES is gone and there is a narrow rim cud in the dentil roots at star 4 to star 4.5. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #20665. Our grade is MS62+. This is one only a few varieties that was missing from the Naftzger collection that was sold in our 2/1/2009 sale of his 1816-1839 cents (conducted in conjunction with the Goldbergs).
