1830 N-10 R4+ Large Letters EF40+Choice frosty light chocolate and steel brown with satiny mint luster covering the protected areas. Sharp and very attractive, close to EF45. The only marks are a tiny puff of lighter tan toning in the field before the nose and a small planchet flake over the T in CENT, as struck. EDS, die state a, with smooth, slightly reflective fields, especially on the reverse. The always-present die crack through the top of ATES is very light. Called EF45 and second finest of the non-proofs in the Bland census.
