Early Ruger M77V Varmint Bolt Action Rifle with Flat Bolt, #70-83028, .220 Swift cal., 26'' heavy barrel, blue finish; checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, ending with red rubber Ruger recoil pad, providing a 13.75'' LOP. There is no provision for sights, but the barrel is drilled and tapped for target bases. Rifle also features a tang safety. Mfg'd 1973. Topped with Ruger rings and Bushnell Banner 4-12x scope with an adjustable objective, finished in gloss black, with duplex reticle, and includes a set of plastic lens covers. Scope appears as new with bright, clear optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 96%-97% factory blue, with light wear at the muzzle, scattered minor marks, light edgewear and some scratching to the trigger guard and floorplate. Desirable flat bolt is blued and numbered to the gun. Stock is near excellent with minor indentations, primarily on the left side. Action is crisp.
