Scarce Marlin Model 336LTS Lever Action Carbine, #LTS00378, .30-30 Win. cal., 16.25'' ''JM'' marked round barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock and forend, solid brown rubber Marlin buttplate, brass beaded blade front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator, and cross-bolt safety. Top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Considered scarce as only 2,671 were manufactured from 1988-1989. Condition is excellent, retaining approx. 98% factory blue, with a few light scratches and handling marks to the sides of the receiver. Factory lettering is crisp. Wood displays only a few light handling marks. Action is crisp and operates smoothly. Bore rates excellent and is bright with strong rifling. Est.: $500-$700. (Modern/PPT)
