British Webley Mark VI Double Action Revolver, #391434, .45 ACP cal., 6'' flat sided barrel, blued finish, checkered black plastic grips, pinned blade front sight, fixed rear sight with ''U''-notch, and swiveling lanyard ring. Pistol has been importer converted to .45 ACP cal., by machining off the rear of the cylinder. Left side of the frame is marked ''WEBLEY/MARK VI/PATENTS/1918''. Left side of the barrel strap is stamped with an ''18''(in service)/(Broad Arrow) property/(Enfield Arsenal) inspector's mark/MARK VI''. Matching numbers. London export proof stamps on right side barrel. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx. 85% toning blue, with wear to the trigger and trigger guard. The hammer and stirrup latch have been cleaned and the top of the front sight has been filed lower. Grips are in excellent condition and look like recent reproductions. Action locks up, cycles, and ejects smoothly. Bore rates fair, with a small bulge to the left and right side, showing darkening, and good rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R/PPT)
