Civil War Era Unmarked Leather Belt, Brass Tacked Flap Holster, Percussion Cap Pouch, and Clip Point Bowie Knife. Lot includes an unmarked period leather belt with crude iron buckle, Navy sized leather flap holster with the original brass hardware removed and decorative tacks added. The lot further includes, a Civil War era leather percussion cap pouch, faintly ''US'' marked, ''R. WHITE / ORD. DEPT. / SUB INSPECTOR'' on the front flap, and ''NEWARK / N.J.'' on the interior. Cap pouch is missing its fleece interior with the vent pick included. Lot also features an unmarked, 8.75'' clip point Bowie knife with 4.5'' blade, simple handguard, and jigged bone scales, in a period leather scabbard with an ''M'' etched in the front, secured by old brass wire. Belt is in very good condition, showing age and wear with tight stitching. Cap pouch is very good and well-marked. Knife shows age and use with staining and corrosion along the blade and has been sharpened. Holster is in good condition with age cracks, secure stitching, and the end plug in place.
