U.S. Marked Kollmorgen Optical Corp. 4XD, MC-1 Rifle Scope, part #FSN-1240-647-1106. Ocular eyepiece is marked ''TELESCOPE, RIFLE, 4XD, MC-1/KOLLMORGEN OPTICAL CORP.'' opposite from this on the eyepiece is: U.S./FSN-1240-647-1106. Scope is held in a commercial Springfield Armory A.R.T. IV mount. Mount is marked with a ''Flaming Bomb/SA./A.R.T./IV.''. This is a second type Kollmorgen scope used on the M1952 USMC Sniper Rifle. Both the elevation and windage adjustments feature audible and tactile clicks. Scope and mount are in excellent condition with only light handling marks.
