Winchester Model 94 Oliver F. Winchester Commemorative Lever Action Rifle, #OFW6525, .38-55 Win. cal; 24'' octagonal barrel with dark blued finish, right side is marked in gold lettering with facsimile of Oliver Winchester's signature, with dovetailed blade front sight and standard elevator rear sight. Gold-colored receiver is roll engraved with western scenes, scroll motifs, and Winchester factory on left side. Nicely figured straight grip walnut stock and forend with spade checkering pattern, finished with a gold-colored cap and blued crescent buttplate; right side of buttstock with inlaid OFW commemorative medallion. In original Styrofoam box with Polychrome sleeve; numbered end label is hard to read but appears to match. Rifle is in excellent overall condition and appears unfired, with only a few very minor handling marks. Bore is mirror bright. Polychrome sleeve and Styrofoam box are in poor condition, heavily reinforced with tape, and styrofoam lid is broken. One of 19,999 produced in 1980. Est.: $800-$1,000. (C&R List/PPT)
