Colt Model 1862 Police Pocket Navy Conversion Single Action Revolver, #307205, .38 RF cal., 3.5'' barrel, blued finish with brass trigger guard and backstrap, smooth walnut grips, silver blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear sight. Serial numbers are matching on the frame, barrel assembly, cylinder, trigger guard and backstrap. Mfg'd circa 1870's. Revolver is in very good condition overall, displaying a pleasing gray patina, with hints of blued finish, and brown patina in some of the protected areas. There is an area of small impressions on right side of the barrel and another on the cylinder. Grips are very good, with an old dime sized wood putty repair on the right grip panel. Factory markings are clear, including approx. 80% of the cylinder scene. Action functions smoothly. Bore rates good overall with scattered light to moderate erosion and clearly defined rifling.
