^Lot 150 Ghost of Mars Viking Helmet Movie Props

Ghost of Mars (2001)- Custom made light up helmet worn by the possessed miners on Mars. In this film, the costumer and armorer settled on a strategy to give as many of the warriors as they could distinct visual styles. It was made from a plain helmet underneath and the production team designed a viking style over it. Constructed of a plastic/resin combination painted to look like rusted armor with a modern twist, with leather neck flaps snapped in place. There is typically a battery pack to power the light rested between the inner and outer shell of the helmet but this is not included in this helmet. Direct from the set of the film. Excellent condition. Light is not functional and a small crack exists on the left side by the light and on the right side of the helmet. (12"x9"x7").
