Acier Lebel Antique 20 gs Side by Side Under Lever Shotgun Made in France
This unusual 20 gauge Shotgun has little in the way of proofmarks.. However there is a gold inlay
name on barrel rib that states Acier Lebel (Lebel Steel) plus the proof mark from 1897 (see pictures)
Condition is good for age - and appears operational as intended.
Fine Engraving is very good. Slight muzzle wear. Bores are fair. Hammers and triggers work fine.
Modest wear to the stock. A few screw heads are damaged but others appear untouched.
Metal overall has a glossy antique patina - Barrels are 29.5 inches long - Bores are stained but
partly shiny.
