EAL No. 4 Mk. I Canadian Survival Rifle Lee Enfield 303 British Bolt Action Rifle

This Unit was MANUFACTURED by CANADIAN COMPANY (EAL) ESSENTIAL AGENCIES LIMITED.

Chambered in .303 British, Reduced length barrel is 21 inches long.

The left side of receiver stamped EAL 460 with bluing intact at about 50% overall.
The flip-up L type aperture rear sight is mated to a sporting front blade on a ramped base and there
are large C/A (Canadian Arsenals Ltd.) markings on the top of barrel.

Serial number 460 indicates this was a rifle that was issued to Military and not used for commerical
sale. The commerical ones were stamped 2000 and up.

Nice sporterized Walnut stock with aftermarket soft rubber butt pad by Jostam.
The walnut sporter-style forend and pistol grip buttstock are in excellent condition with scattered
minor handling marks and small blemishes in the original oil finish throughout.

Coms with period correct canvas sling.

These rifles were made both for commercial and government use.. Additionally, these rifles were also
issued to RCAF, DEW Line, and Canadian Ranger personnel as a polar survival gun.
