^Lot 1527 La Coruna / CAI M43 8mm Mauser #R-2502

This is a Spanish M43 bolt-action Mauser rifle, based on the design of the K-98, this rifle was manufactured in the La Coruna factory in 1951. The rifle was later imported by CAI (stamped behind muzzle) to the US market. The rifles exposed metal, maintains approximately 80% of its finish. The stock is in good condition, showing heavy wear in scratches and depressions, but no wood missing, and a small crack on the upper forend just forward of the left rear sight “ear”. Original stamping is crisp and clear, with the exception of the serial number on the bolt handle, but it is legible and matches to the receiver, as do all other serialized components of this rifle. All components are present and the rifle maintains good functioning order. The rifles maintains a good amount of packing grease over its exposed surfaces, and the barrel is still packed with grease.
