Lot 1422 Lot of Two Vintage Rifle Scabbards.

Eubanks brown leather saddle rifle scabbard from the Boise, Idaho leatherworker. tooled basket weave panels. Eubanks Leather Co. was started in Boise, Idaho in 1939 by the Eubanks family. They produced high quality gun leather and other leather goods until 1950, when the name and business were sold to the Pioneer Tent and Awning Co. Based on the mark on the leather, this holster was made between 1939 and 1950. This piece is in good condition for its age with one of the small holding straps broken. Measures 35 1/2" long and 6 1/2" wide. 2) Brown leather saddle rifle scabbard marked "Burrell Bros. Maker Safford, Ariz". We could not find any reference to this maker but the scabbard is old, complete with straps, stitching intact. Requires further research.
