^Lot 1122 Husquvarna / CAI M96 6.5x55mm Swedish #692630

Husqvarna WWII era Swedish military bolt action Mauser rifle chambered in 6.5x55mm Swedish, manufactured circa 1943. Full lenght European-style straight grip stock. Receiver ring stamped "Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag, 1943" Imported by CAI, St. Albans, VT. with import marks on the bottom of the barrel. Features a blued finish, 29" barrel, partridge front sight (painted red), Vasteras type rear sight graduated to 800 meters, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, smooth curved trigger, internal 5 round box magazine, integral stripper clip guide cut in the receiver, in-the-white finished bolt with straight handle & three-position safety on the rear, sling swivels, smooth wood handguard, grasping grooves in the forend, brass stock disc & smooth metal buttplate. Matching serial numbers "630" are found on the buttplate, and bolt (last three digits of receiver serial number). The brass stock disk is marked 0 holdover, and #1 bore condition. Rifle retains about than 80% of the blue finish with wear towards the muzzle, some rust on the front sling swivel, bolt and bolt handle. Action is smooth/tight. Bore is bright with good rifiling. Wood is good with small scratches/dings.
