^Lot 1056 VKT 1891 'Mosin Nagant' 7.62x54R #22389

Very nice WW2 military bolt action rifle circa 1942 in the Jyvaskyla factory. Rifle Features 31.6" barrel, no bayonet lug, inverted "V" front sight, ladder tangent rear sight graduated to 1200 meters, hex receiver with stripper clip guides, fixed five round magazine with hinged floor plate, smooth forend, cleaning rod under barrel, sling swivels, straight bolt handle, straight wood stock & matching wood handguard. The stock is Finnish with two piece construction. Bore is bright, metal finish is good retaining most of its finish with some pitting towards the muzzle. Bolt is clean, and mechanically sound. It features a modified two-stage trigger, with smooth curved trigger bow. Receiver markings include "B", "D", "1942", "VKT", the serial number, and an "SA" in a rectangle. The stock is very good, with a couple of small gouges near the rear of the receiver. Receiver, barrel, and bolt have matching serial numbers "22389".
Condition is NRA Fine.
