^Lot 926 Weatherby Mark V .300 Wby Mag #P6406

High quality bolt action rifle manufactured by J.P Sauer, West Germany in 1964. Features a blued finish, fancy figured walnut stock, 24" barrel, no provisions for sights, hinged floorplate, 3 lug bolt, manual safety, plum colored bolt shroud. Monte Carlo pattern stock features right handed shadow line cheek piece with tall comb, checkered panels at wrist & forend, contrasting wood forend tip & grip cap, sling stud holes (No studs), ventilated rubber recoil pad. Bore is excellent/bright. Blue has dulled somewhat about 85% finish with signs of use & handling, there are a couple of very minor patches of pitting on the barrel, handling wear on the bolt knob. Wood is overall very good/sound with some minor scratches/dings, there is a chip out of the white diamond insert n the bottom of the grip cap. Two piece scope bases with the bottom rings installed on the receiver.
