^Lot 866 Wards Western Field Model SB30A 12 Ga.

SN: 9246. Vintage slide-action repeating shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells. Browning patent made by Stevens between 1946-1948 for Montgomery Ward. Features a blued finish, 30" barrel with a bead front sight, Full Choke, half length tube magazine, steel hump-back receiver, smooth trigger, sliding tang safety, smooth walnut slide handle and pistol grip shoulder stock with checkered panels, grooved buttplate. 14" LOP. Bore is very good/bright. Metal finish looks good with some scuffs/scratches and edge wear. blue has dulled but is mostly all there, with friction wear on the tube, some scattered light patina. Action is smooth/tight. Wood is very good.
