^Lot 851 Weatherby Mark V .460 Wby Mag #39143

High quality bolt action rifle manufactured by J.P Sauer, West Germany in 1963. Features high polished blued finish, fancy figured walnut stock, 26" heavy profile barrel, blade/bead front sight, adjustable u-notch flip sight, ported muzzle break, hinged floorplate marked "Weatherby Super", 3 lug 'jeweled bolt', manual safety, plum colored bolt shroud. Monte Carlo pattern stock features right handed shadow line cheek piece with tall comb, checkered panels at wrist & forend, contrasting wood forend tip & grip cap, sling studs, ventilated rubber recoil pad. Bore is excellent/bright. Retains about 95% finish with signs of use & handling, there is two very small patches of pitting on the mid left barrel. Wood is overall very good/sound with some minor scratches/dings, there is a small chip out of the checkering on the right grip. Mounted with a German made Weatherby Imperial 2 3/4x 90 scope with German No.1 reticle, Buehler bases/rings, clear view.
