Lot 841a Colt Officer's Model .38 Spc. #246204

Vintage Colt double action revolver chambered in .38 Special manufactured in 1905 in Hartford, CT. It features a blued refinish, 6" barrel, pinned blade front sight with elevation adjustment, flat top frame, low-profile drift-adjustable rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder, non-shrouded ejector rod (missing ejector rod head), checkered curved trigger, checkered hammer spur & backstrap. Checkered diamond two-piece wood grips. Stamped "1516" on the crane, yolk, & cylinder release latch. Revolver exhibits approximately 90% of its blued refinish showing edge wear, the bluing is starting to turn brown, and there is a small amount of scattered pin prick pitting around the frame. The barrel has what looks to be hammering marks by the front sight probably from removing/reinstalling the sight blade. Action is mechanically sound, bore is sound with strong rifling, and wood grips are good and fit nicely to the frame.
Condition is NRA Good.
