High Standard import from Hamden, CT. This is a box lock over/under double barrel shotgun made in Japan. The top bore measures 'IM', and the bottom measures 'M' with a drop-in gauge. It is chambered for 2 3/4" shells with a 14 1/2" LOP. The stock features checkering on the beavertail forend with metal inlays, engraving on the deeley release, engraving on the receiver, trigger guard, and even the trigger guard screw. Many of the internal parts are jeweled. It also features a single engraved curved gold colored trigger, an engraved semi-pistol grip stock with a grip cap and spacer, and a vented rubber recoil pad. The barrel is 29 3/4" in length, aluminum vent rib, white bead front sight, steel bead rear sight, sliding safety/selector, and the gun utilizes dual ejectors. The blued finish is about 99%with the extremely small discoloring marks on the bottom of the receiver, and behind the trigger guard. the top receiver end of the rib is missing a small spot of finish. The bores are excellent.
