^Lot 794 Winchester Model 1886 .40-82 #15816

Winchester 1886 Rifle in 40-82 caliber with 25 1/2" (shortened barrel); full magazine, rifle butt. Gray to brown natural patina finish with good address and markings. Stocks are good with normal wear and some "working" around at the comb where chips smoothed up we would guess. Sights are changed during period of use. Action good and bore shows use and some pitting but serviceable. Tang screw replaced. Manufactured 1887, 2nd year of production.
